i'm delighted to see a MeeGo tablet arrive, but:
if its going to use x86 i would prefer it to use a dual core atom.
unless there is oodles of power i would prefer ARM for app compatibility.
will this be able to use OVI, and if not where will we get our commercial media/apps/games from?

No, as this is no Nokia device. However you'll be able to install Android, Adobe Air and normal MeeGo apps.

Thanks for the info you are providing - helps in clearing some points.
As far as Android concerned - is this an approved Android device - in that will the device have access to thr Android Store - or will it be via .apk's only ?
Since Android is in a VM, I am guessing it wont have access to Android Store - again conjecture on my part.

Android is included as a VM.
Heat: You can use it in direct sunshine on a hot summer day without problems,
thanks to:
noise: there is a fan built-in which will only turn on if needed. I haven't heard it once.
battery life: depends of course on the usage. count with 6 to 8 hours surfing the web over 3G or WLAN.
