i have purchased 'doc to go premium' but when i installed the program i was getting a msg that liqt4-translations needed installing. i attempted to install the file but received further message saying it could not install libqt4-translations.

can anyone help please

open x-term and type

sudo gainroot
apt-get install libqt4-translations

what you get?

after gainroot i get: enable rd mode if u want to break your device
and after apt-get install libqt4-translations: E: could not open lock file /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open 13 permission dennied
E: unable to lock the administration dir /var/lib/dpkg/' are you root?

heres hoping you can make sense of all of that!!

You have to install rootsh before you can do "sudo gainroot".

oksudo gainroot inputted: root shell enabled
busybox v1:10.2 debian 3:1.10.2.legal-losso30+0m5 built in shell
/home/user

package libqt4-translations is not available but isrefered to by another package.
this may mean the main package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source

Try:
sudo gainroot
apt-get install libqt4-core

ok have attempted this and now gettinglibqt4-core is already the newest version.

0 upgraded 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 33 not upgraded


and just to say thanks guyz to help me solve this problem
