Hi all,

i have got my new shining n900 today and trying to setup the nokia messaging

i have used n97 in the past and has created messaging account long back (i dont remember how as i used n97 for only 5 days)

today when i am trying to setup pushmail with my already created nokia messaging account, it accepts the intial setup and when it shows the mail box, nothing gets updated / shown, all blank and after sometime a pop up comes saying to enter the password of the first mail account i used in nokia messaging client.

i have entered the correct passwords of both my nokia messaging account and my gmail account but still the pop up comes every 2 mins and the mail box shows empty

i have deleted all the mail accounts in my messaging account through laptop and added again but still same problem...

coming from android (mail setup is butter smooth ) i am confused here (no blaming maemo, only little complicated) ...was trying to solve this from afternoon (its already 1:30 am in the morning here)

can any one please help me on this?

and also i am not able to find official twitter widget anywhere on the store or repos..... any kind soul help me on this too.....

and also any way to sync facebook calender with n900 calender?

TIA

nokia messaging website and service is buggy, and it doesn't make sense. for me, i have to enter a password i used to create the nokia messaging account, even though it asks for the email password.

oh yeah, there's lots of discussion of this here. just use google to search the site if you can't find it

now it added and showing the email accounts i added....

but still the queries on twitter and facebbok are unanswered....

nok. messaging is flaky as hell. unless you are into not getting emails/getting emails late for several long blackout periods per year, you should just skip it and setup imap accounts directly in modest

When I got my N900 I was trying to setup "Nokia Messaging", for about 3-4 days and I finally got fed up (for some reason I setup my account in my phone and was never able to login) and just manually created accounts in my phone now.

But then again all the advantages of Nokia Messaging are not very relevant for me.
