So when did Nokia state flash 10.1 wasn't coming to the N900? Before or after it was demonstrated running on a N900? Please enlighten us all.

There was a presentation made by ~Adobe~ where they had a demonstration of Flash 10.1 apparently running on the N900. Was it really 10.1? Who knows for sure. It could have been an animated GIF and none of us would know any different - such was the lack of visual proof in the video itself.

I'm quite sure Nokia has never made a statement either way - don't be so quick to ask for enlightenment since you may not end up hearing whatever it is you want to hear.

But the video you show, clearly demonstrates Flash 10.1 on N900 ??? surely someone can make this happen in the community?

The Flash version tweaking will not help if Flash 10.1 features are actually used. It only helps if it is a website that says it needs Flash 10 but doesn't use any Flash 10 features (essentially just a version check).
