I am running the Power Kernel and whenever I try to install official apps from the Ovi store (such as LiveCast Mobile) I get a message saying I have to upgrade my Maemo 5 version. I am already on PR 1.2.

This likely has something to do with my patched Power Kernel, is there any way to fix this problem?

open address
Code:
about:config
with the browser and see if something there refers to power kernel.

Do you get the error when accessing the site, or when it's actually trying to install the package? If you're modifying the user agent string then this will break browser access to the Ovi site.

I have another problem with installing stuff off the OVI store. The problem occurs when trying to install payed apps, payment is flawless and everything seems ok but for some reason dl never starts (!?!). When I've payed for the app and pressed download appmanager shuld start but nothing happens. Any advice on this?

Waited for 20 mins now and nothing! I have Swedish 3G (3-7Mbit/s) so that shuld not be the problem. the App is aprx: 0.35MB in size so I really don't think it's bandwidth issue. ^^

What Rob1n said - ie, have you got "Hide User Agent" installed (and set to something other than default)? Settings -> Hide User Agent.
