Nope. The mic fix has nothing to do with calls. It just enables voice applications to use the mic (very low latency). It does not work with SIP apps either.. so far that is.

Calls will require using some sort of high latency API and with android that is only possible (or so i know) with AudioTrack.

Uhm, some help please.
I managed to install NITDroid after a huge fight with the X-Terminal.
But there's just a few problems. First of all, the proximity sensor isn't working as the menu button. I don't think it's doing anything at all. Second, I 'm having trouble finding out how to access my files... How on earth do I access the files stored internally in my N900? I can look through the gallery to find like 20% of all the images my N900 internal storage had... and the music player can find all my music from my N900's internal storage. But where's the video's? Android is so hard to find where everything is...

And then another problem, I wanted to install this app called "1, 2, 3000 Kanji" but apparently it's for the USA market only. So I looked a bit and found this file called MarketEnabler which should enable the USA market for me... so it's stored on the SDcard AND on my N900's internal storage... but again, WHERE DO I FIND IT?

EDIT:
And lastly... isn't there an integrated taskmanager that is EASY to access? Right now the only way I can get away from an application window is by pressing back (soft button camera) or by going to menu (hard button camera) But the problem is that doing this doesn't close the app, it just sends it to the background. This annoys me cause it causes unnecessary stress and warms the device up alot.

The proximity sensor is no longer a 'button.' I forget what they replaced it with.

If you want to kill tasks, get the Advanced Task Killer.

I used to have a good link to an excellent task manager thingy, but it stopped working so I can't help you there.

Hi,
I have nitdroid 0.0.8 installed and it works very well exept of one big problem ( to me at least ) - I can't play games.
All the games I tried are installed but when I launch the game ( asphalt 5 for example ) it asks me to download the game data although they are in the suitable directory ( i can only download the sd data to pc and transfer them to the n900 cause i have problems with the n900 internet connections). is there another step i should take exept of transfering the sd data and installing the .apk?
Please help me, I will really appreciate it!

Ditto. I haven't been prompted for a nitdroid update in months, yet the changlelog on your wiki suggests that I have missed two.

I remember when it was first installed, it downloaded the 'the_flying_world' which I think is v0.0.6, but I'm just guessing.

My extras-devel repo is working fine, and the command 'nitdroid-installer --version' yeilds nothing.

When I try 'apt-get install nitdroid-installer' (after updating) I just get "nitdroid-installer is already the newest version".
Which is of course, very helpful

Suggestions? (or am I in the wrong thread for reporting this?)
