My mini review:

Pros:
  • Simplifies panorama composition by giving you an on-screen guide overlay of where to point for next photo
  • Processes immediately, on the device
  • Does an okay job of merging

Cons:
  • Only covers up to about 290 degrees. Why?
  • Doesn't save the intermediate photos in any obvious way. This would be fine except...
  • Sometimes it never completes processing, requiring a reboot, and
  • The options for style of projection, etc etc are pretty slim, so you only get what it spits out

Classic example of arbitrary Nokia decision making. Couldn't just fallback to the no brainer of tagging with lat/lon if network isn't accessible, could you Nokia?

That happened to me, too, on my first pictures.

To make it work, you have to spin the camera on its vertical axis rather than move the camera. When I did that, the app rendered the panos in just a few minutes.

I learned this by reading the Help.

Hi all,

I've a strange problem with Nokia's panorama. When launching the application, it tells me "memory not available in mass storage mode usb connection"
When pressing the camera button, same message appears, and I can't use this application.
Of course, I remove the USB cable, but no changes. Hence I unloaded the g_file_storage module from kernel, wich is supposed to be used for USB Mass storage.
I've a modified kernel (2.6.28.10power37) provided by maemo.org's repository;
I've Mad Developper installed, but when removing it, and rebooting my device, I still get this error;
Anyone had the same problem, or has a suggestion ?

I had this problem too, it appeared the SD-card was corrupted.
So after connecting to PC an do an errorcheck I was able to use this wonderfull application.
Another idea, instead of turning around try to run around somebody...
