libgles1-sgx-img
is my conflicting package.
I had this problem and the culprit was the braincandy game. Just uninstall it

or from terminal "root; apt-get remove libgles1-sgx-img"

For me I did an apt-get remove on the libgles package and it listed GLTron as the culprit. Easy choice for me to get rid of that to enable OTA upgrade.

I had to uninstall gltron and PythonQt to clear all the conflicts and update OTA.

Doesn't look like Tweak Flash Ver is working for me anymore, either...

Damn, I spoke too soon.
Uninstalled brainparty and couldn't update to 1.3 still because of libgles1-sgx-img so
I tried sudo gainroot, apt-get remove libgles1-sgx-img and got back:

E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (11 Resource temporarily unavailable)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), is another process using it?

To OP: Which wait? Imo, it was not worth the whining though.

Speaking of which I am eager to find out if the N900 has become more phone.

I was able to pick up a phone call while watching a movie and having a load of programs and complex web sites open. It took a while before call alarm started playing but it worked.
Any phone functionality critics still around to compare?

There was no wait, it didn't cost anything, has fixes and new features, so my answer is yes, you are a fat troll. Wait, what was the question again?
