well... let's say that actually that app DOES all the above in automatic.. at certain time of day and nite

i had a white list of people that could call me after 6pm, anybody else in answering phone. after 8am it would switch back to normal.

it would even switch profile based on the cell the phone was hooked to, very useful. it was the best app on my phone.

i used the phone for work and fun and that app would keep clients away at nite and weekends. simple.

If U've got last version from repo it should work Try to uninstall old version, and use Application Manager to install new one

There was a problem with init scripts in v < 0.2-22 which seems to work properly.

Ahh if someone 'll have problems with removing / reinstalling catblock:

rm /var/lib/dpkg/info/catblock.prerm
rm /var/lib/dpkg/info/catblock.*inst
apt-get purge catblock

Just tried this but it says the package is in too bad a state and to reinstall it first but when i try i get this error,
dpkg (subprocess): unable to execute post-installation script: No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing catblock (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 2
Errors were encountered while processing:
catblock
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

I installed catblock this morning and since then its been a total pain in the arse to remove, i've tried everything i can think of.
any ideas?
sounds like a cool app though, idealy i would just like to get it working, but will settle for removal if not

To get it work - try:

sudo gainroot
/etc/init.d/catblock start

That's bugged package - i'll fix it soon

Thank you for your app. I just tried this app, it can block incoming calls, but can not blacklist sms message. Any way to block the message?

woo, thanks for prompt reply!!! sorry, i'm not a programmer so don't know what you mean by 'dbus brute-force' . Besides, if it is possible to make the app auto-functional every time once reboot the n900? I tried it, but it seems i have to make it functional by command-line every time.
