Every Skype call I make from the N900 (PR 1.3 and earlier) has terrible voice quality. The same call from my PC on the same network has excellent quality. The echo service is fine; it's only calls to people that have this problem.

So you use WIFI:? Fast or ...? How about video quality? In my case using Skype by wifi is just fine, audio and video, before and after 1.3. I do overclock moderately. So it must be possible.

After PR 1.3, i've the same problem on 3G connection!
And videophonie dont't work yet on Skype since PR 1.3!

I was on a Skype video call with my wife this morning. I am on TMobile USA network and the quality depends on the speed. She was using a laptop that was tethered to tmobiles network via Joikuspot. We had a great connection so everything was ok. My N900 is not overclocked and I am on pr1.3 so it may be an isolated issue with your n900 or internet connection.
