Are you typing with the hardware keyboard? I just tried, and it worked fine.

Really trying to help you here, both Nicolai and I have given you fairly simple ways to add echo test...

Again

1 open contacts
2 create new contact
3 in skype box type in echo123
4 save
5 skype call echo123

If you've tried that and it doesn't work tell us how...

or if you have skype on your PC, press the directory button and search for echo...there are many you could try...

ok mine N900 is not different for sure

and i did put echo123 in dialpad to call itl
do i suppose to hear something?? cause i dont and after half minute it disconnect it self?

i finally could do the echo 123 test and somehow my people in Asia can now hear me
