It's always been possible to configure the limit yourself. http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=38426
I have a specific ruby script that crunches numbers in the background. It can take (up to) several hours to process info. That's normal behavior.
While it's crunching, I'd like to be able to open a (another) separate terminal window to ssh out/IRC/etc. When I click on xterminal, it simply brings me to the already-open and crunching window.
