Hi everyone,

I'm a new owner of the N900 so I hope you understand in case I ask stupid questions. I bought the n900 because of all the great feedback I saw about its capabilities and one of the things I like the most would be the tv-out function and its capability to play avi files. However, when I tried playing a movie for the first time there were black side bars. And 1 more thing, even at the desktop screen there is still black side bars. It seems that my n900 isn't maximizing the screen space of my TV. I tried using a 7 inch" widescreen format in my car and a regular crt tv at home and both gave my the same video output (black side bars). Can anyone please help me? The only setting i found with my n900 is the PAL/NTSC output. And 1 more thing I noticed is that the color of the TV projector is different from the one being projected by the n900 screen. It is darker. Any way to adjust the color output settings? Again, I would have to apologize in advance it some of my questions are stupid. Thank you in advance.

Thank you leetut. 1 follow-up question though, I noticed that the color is different in the tv projection. AN image is showing as light yellow in my n900 screen but it shows orange on the TV. I already tried 2 TVs and both showed the same color. Any idea what is causing this or is this normal?
