couple of points...I still can't add stuff to downloads after checking multiple items. I have no idea why, the options showed up once, but I have not seen it since (very strange).

also I have it clicked to start downloads immediately but when I get to the download section everything says "paused" and I have to manually start the downloads...

oh did I mention great app?

I can't reproduce either of those issues. How 'Multi-select' works:

• You click the menu bar and choose 'Multi-select'.
• Each video list window has its own 'pencilList', to which items are appended/removed when you tick/untick them. Each time an item is ticked/unticked, the application monitors the length of the 'pencilList' and sets the 'Add to queue' etc menu options to visible (if length > 0) or not visible (length == 0).
• Click the menu bar after ticking some items. Logically, the options must appear since the length of the 'pencilList' is > 0.

If the behaviour of this function differs from one device to another, then I am at a loss.

On the downloads issue, have a look at the config file:

and check the downloadStatus value. It should be "queued" if you set downloads to start immediately. If you find that it is set to "queued", then you must have some kind of crazy N900. Are you sure it says Nokia on the front, and not Nokla.

hmmmm I´m wondering here. (I don´t like buttons in top menu IMO about settings etc. belong there but nothing else). Would it make layout too crowded if you implemented (if it´s even possible) rating & comments to default view.

-Tap comment icon&count -->load comments to description "frame"
-Tap rating -->load stars to description "frame"
-Tap video thumbnail ->load description to "frame"/load default view

That would go against the hildon style guide. It's also bad from a HCI point of view IMO. Those methods are less discoverable than the standard hildon approach of menu buttons, unless you use push buttons in place of the icons, which would look ugly in some themes (the default one with the grey buttons springs to mind).

I know the options are there... they just don't work thats all. Kida figured it be the same for everyone else but maybe not?

Your earlier post didn't make that clear, but I've now fixed the 'Related videos' bug. The 'Rate video' bug is down to a problem in the python-gdata package (i.e. not my code). I guess none of the other YouTube applications on the N900 use video rating, which is why the bug hasn't been noticed before.

but the search function isn't accurate as searching the real youtube page

as for the other issue (no option to select what I have put check boxes in) I am at a loss. as I said, if I open cutetube, like one in ten opens, it gives me the appropriate options after multi selecting, all other times not. I do have a real Nokia, I guess it just is buggy somehow. I did a complete reinstall (twice) on pr 1.3 so another is out of the question. grrrr.....
