Psx4m is a Maemo Fremantle PSone emulator, it is still under development, and has a great looking future ahead.

- PSX4m - In development maemo version of psx emulator.

- PSX4m-gles - Adapted graphics core for psx emulator, designed for a better looking graphic by the use of OpenGLES

- PCSX-ReArmed - Uses the famous Ari64's dynarec recompiler, modified for use under PSX emulation, has speed improvements, and should be one of the main features in future releases, when it will be fully ported.( more info )

- PSX4m-gui - A simple, yet very useful GUI, designed for the best choice of settings and confort for the end user.

Quick start
http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...&postcount=837
Installation:
root
apt-get remove pcsx-m
apt-get install psx4m-gui
Options :
- XA Decoding - It's a sound filter used to decode PS audio (XA) multiplexed into WAV/AVI files. When disabled will speed up movies and emulation itself.

- Sio Irq - Enable this only when pads or memcards doesn't works, but usually breaks compatibility with them.

- Spu Irq - May help your game to work, but usually doesn't helps.

- CD Audio - If checked, will disable CD audio.

- Rootcounter Hacks 1 & 2 - Fixes for games such as Parasite Eve 2 (1), Vandal Hearts (1) and InuYasha Sengoku Battle(2).

- HWA Gpu - Enables Hardware gpu rendering. Enable it when you want to use psx4m-gles. Note that this option is not yet implemented in Pcsx-ReARMed

- FSSA - Full-Screen Anti-Aliasing, will give you smoother graphics, but reduced speed and reduced compatible.

- Threaded Sound - Can give a better audio output but will cause slowdowns.

- Frameskip - The name says it all. Skips frames and makes some games looks smoother. Note that high frameskip numbers may give the contrary of expected results.

- Accelerometer - Enable accelerometer control (and disable keyboard controls for arrows) ; cause slowdowns

"error opening file: /home/user/-runcd
somethings goes wrong, maybe you forgot -cdfile ?"

That's the error I get when trying to use pcsx-r

No error when trying to use gles version, it just doesn't start.

Ok, gles version fixed by restarting and then reinstalling newest version. Pcsx-r version still not working though.

Thanks for all your work.

Also, I think that psx4m-gles process gets stuck at 100% after closing application. (launched from xterm as user)

Now it won't launch due to segmentation fault.
