I am pretty sure that this is the smoking gun.. Nokia and M$ partnering to bring office and windows live sw to Meego and Symbian

If so... I called it. This move makes sense sense office document creation and editing on the fly is the next big thing to do.

The partnership was announced already in August 2009. At one point Nokia had a ton of job listings looking for people to do the development. Interestingly, the Microsoft counterpart of the deal was none other than Elop himself.

That's fine for me as long as I'm able to run a full OpenOffice installation or several spinoffs like KOffice or FreOffice at my MeeGo device.
