okay last night i installed Ubuntu (using Juandp77's method) and Easy Debian (using the App Manager) and proceed to the process of installing Archlinux, i noticed that my installable apps memory was full. i only have 85mb left (before installing both was 1.7gb). i checked back my app manager and neither Ubuntu or Easy Debian used anything more that 1gb. plus i chose the option to extract it to phone memory. so what is filling up all my memory?

Are you sure Easy Debian Installed properly? My image is over 2gb.

yes the images that i extracted came out as 2gb for both Easy Debian and Ubuntu. i managed to use both of it. it was functional. i first installed Ubuntu, then Easy Debian. the images won't affect the installable apps memory right? because if so, i would have already used up 4gb.

I would think that most space is taken up in where the image sits. Although you probably tried this, you can do an apt-get clean to see how much space is freed. You might consder asking in the easy debian fremantle beta thread. Sorry I can't help more.

i placed the image in the internal phone memory. even during the installation i chose the phone memory as my desired directory. yeah already tried it, only freed 10mb. well i uninstalled Easy Debian, and i managed to free 1gb of memory. now i have 1.76gb left. but whenever i try to move the Archlinux image to /home/user (via FileBox) it will say "not enough space". now this is the part where i really don't understand. what do they mean by not enough memory, when i have 20gb free on my internal memory, 2.46gb on my memory card, and 1.76gb on rootfs? i even tried using OpenSSH to transfer the Archlinux image (2gb) to /home/user, and it failed at 90%. so which memory is low?

and if i still want Easy Debian on my phone, will it still and supposed to take 1gb of my rootfs?

why would you ever want to place those huge images in /home/user (~)?
just leave them in ~/MyDocs. there's tons of space in there and you shouldn't run into problems

well the installation guide required me to place the image in /home/user. unless there's another way of mounting the image..

can someone provide me a clear guide on how to install ArchLinux from /home/user/MyDocs?

what does "user is not in the sudoers file n900" mean? how do i overcome it?
