Icon spin for some moments. Each time I sync it throws the following on the cli:

Hmm, that's very strange. Does the icon spin for a while, or it goes back to static right away? Can you try to start it from the command line with:
/opt/usr/bin/Lukija
and see if there are any messages showing up when trying to sync (there are a few warnings about anchors when the app start up you can ignore)?
@geekgirl: if you haven't entered your username, you should get the login screen when the app starts. If you see a "No articles to be displayed" message, then click on the setting button to show it.
Edit: have uninstalled and reinstalled, now I can at least login...

0.0.2-2 now in extras-devel, which should fix a good part of these issues. If you've already tried to update, I've added a "Reset All" button on the settings screen to delete the incorrect data that has been cached by previous versions.

Doesn't work yet. If I reset and reinsert name and password, it says error in downloading list with a yellow banner. If I reset, quit the program, restart, reinsert credentials, it says no articles in the main window.

0.0.2-3 incoming to extras-devel with a fix of the fix. Thanks for the feedback! Another push on the reset button is needed. Note that you will get the yellow banner error the first time you sync after a reset if you don't restart the app, but should be fine after that.
As for your question, there aren't any configuration files, the settings are in a sqlite database (i'm unsure of the exact location, it's determined by Qt itself). But there aren't really any settings to tweak anyway.
