My guess is that topic starter just didn't reboot the phone after he installed Opera 11. Icon will appear after he restarts the phone (or kills hildon-desktop).
The widget issue I have no clue...

You gotta reboot after the CSSU install, right...? And if Opera was present before the install, vis a vis, it's gone through a reboot.
OP's got it fixed now anyway.
The Following User Says Thank You to d-iivil For This Useful Post: | ||
I have just installed CSSU.
FEEDINGIT
The 'feedingit' widget is now just a black square. Also it has no desktop icon in the same way as opera(see below)
When I enter desktop settings I can still click the spanner to get to the 'change settings from inside the program' message. I can move and remove the widget. I can run feedingit from the icon in the application list. I have tried removing it, re-installing it, purging it no-matter what I do the widget is just a black square.
OPERA 11
I have opera 11 installed, while it works there is no icon for it on the desktop, just a blue square (default no icon 'icon'). The strange thing is the opera icon is visible in the application menu but not when I add it as a shortcut to the desktop. Neither is it there when I look for it in app search widget.
I have looked at the opera.desktop file and it lists the icon as 'opera'. I have looked in /usr/share/icons and there is indeed an opera.png icon. Further more, when I change the another applications .desktop file to use the opera icon file it exhibits the EXACT same behaviour! (icon visiible in menu but not as desktop shortcut.)
FURTHER INFO.
I am running power kernel46, I am using the default theme. I have none of the graphical 'features' of CSSU enabled.
So there is somthing ****ed up here. I have 2 icons not showing and a broken widget after updating to the CSSU. Is there a way to check if the icon is in the right place? Does opera use a funny icon path? WTF?
