Hello very one,

I want to save images that are embedded in an email using N900's modest but I cant save them there is no "save image as" in the context menu. Can I save them? Also is there a way to save all the images at once.

I searched the forum but no solutuion I could find.

Thank in advance.

Find the word say: Save Attachements in the menu. Then you'll be able to save it. The email must have attachement to be able to see the menu.

But what I want is to download the inlined (embedded) images not the attachements as you can do on Android an iPhone and even kmail and claws mail on n900. They all give the possibility to download such images.

I cant use kmail niether claws because kmail is so slow and claws mail is hard to use with hand. Thank you for your reply

OK since there is no direct way to accomplish this can I copy the cached images from modest folder to any place because modest seems to save the message as whole in the cache folder (/home/user/.modest/cache) without an easy way to see the files themselfs.

I am sorry if my English is not clear because it's not my native language.

Have a look in ~/.modest/images

I forgot to mention that I already looked at that folder but it seems it has only thumbnails and a very few large (actual) images and I do not no why is that? may be dependent on the server?

Any hints, please.
