Hey all,

I am trying to use the VNC viewer from the Maemo page to connect to my laptop. I installed the VNC server on my laptop and was not really sure what special actions to take there so I left everything default. Hovering over the icon in the taskbar tells me that my IP address is 192.168.1.102 which is part of the generic router schema and when I start the VNC viewer on my 770 and type that IP address in it simply pauses for about a minute then says "Cannot connect to server"

Any suggestions?

thanks,

Nisim

make sure you don't put an http in front of the ip. also make sure your firewall has a port open for vnc.
