as far as i know, N900 can't record HD videos due a software limitation, and can't play it....

But under android can! and works great, no like maemo...

Maybe if one day the NITDROID developers get working the camera sensor, N900 will get HD recording?

Or with MeeGo 1.2 "Final" with unlocked software.

Excuse my bad english.

what do you mean. Are you saying that n900 running android can make a hd video which it cant while its running maemo. Or just that *some* android phone can make a hd video and n900 cant?

I think there are 5 megapixel android phones recording HD video, so in theory it is possible, though you should ask it on Nitdroid thread or at nitdroid.com

no its not possible. the camera does not support hd video capture

From Hardware Side, It is possible. But developing Drivers support for it.... Hmmm, lets not be soooooooo sure. Read this post.

That is the biggest problem.... The drivers... and i think with this speed... never see 720P recording or acceptable WVGA recording...
