Are there any difference in how ISO is handled.
I find that Camera-ui2 is taking much darker pictures with ISO 100-400 compair to stock-ui.

Thank you for this comparison.
I have never seen that differences.
I'lll make some tests on my own, maybe I can
reproduce this. I think the lightning condition are
crucial here.
What strikes me is, all stock camera pictures have the same
exposure time.
Whereas camera-ui2 pictures have different exposure times.
Are all pictures made with the flashlight?

I already posted this information to CSSU thread, but I would not be surprised if you missed it.
Just reporting that video recording started lagging big time after installing CSSU. Lagging can be noticed when recording and also when the video is played.
Somenone else reported this also on the thread.

Yes all is with flash.

That is how ISO works. Less ISO means more light is needed to the same brightness. Like on a sunny day when all your pictures get burned in or you want to take picture of the clouds in the sky, you make pictures with less ISO. On the other hand when you are in a dark room, but do not want to use flash, or the room is too big for the flash to do any good, you take up ISO. This will also make your pictures more noisy, but that is the price you pay.

Don't know if this was mentioned but........
I have some universal car holder and don't use that much but a couple of days ago I was going on a trip and I needed navigation. But my universal holder press the camera button and that starts the camera. The same was with stock but stock had the "X" button so I could close it but now I have to keep the lens cover open in order that camera actually starts and then I have "X" and I can close it.

Thank you for reporting this, I never tested what would happen
when you press and hold the capture button while the
lenscover is closed :-)
There is an option in the camera-ui menu (general settings)
where you can disable that the camera-ui starts when the
focus button is pressed. But I am not sure if this is working
in the version which is included in the CSSU, when you
press and hold the focus button.
But the latest version here should work correctly. Take the latest
version, disable the camera-ui start option. Then the
camera-ui shouldn't start, even when you hold the capture button.

More changes in the latest version (see the first post):

* fixed: remaining recording time isn't updated while recording
* fixed: recording doesn't stop automatically when now more space left
on device
* fixed: image capture / video recording starts even when lenscover is closed
* add information banner when no more space left on device

Can you make the fullscreen/not fullscreen mode permanant ?
i.e. if I leave the camera-ui not in fullscreen and reboot, the camera-ui should be still not in fullscreen, like the stock one.

I didn't know this is a feature of the stock camera-ui. I thought
it always opens in fullscreen mode.
