I "updated" this afternoon- that white box that displays "other maemo weather settings" that another poster mentioned shows up on my n810- the system is locked. I can't do anything- I rebooted and the box pops back up before I can get to anything- took the battery out- same thing- any ideas? I'm not really sure what to do now.

I also had the "big white box" thing right after upgrading. After the 3rd reboot I just let it do it's on thing for about 15 minutes or so and when I went back to check on it everything was working fine.

The new version brought on the London weather on my new N810. Better than previous attempts when all I could obtain was N/A. However when trying to add my home city to the weather app settings a white panel appears in the centre of the screen and locks up the unit. Closer to usable but still not there sadly. Back to the Beta labs with it.

hi
This is very strange. Please make full reboot your device and try again. If it don't help I need screenshot from your device with "a white panel appears in the centre of the screen"

Same thing happened to me, white box and everything, I also let it sit there for a while (didn't measure how long), everything works perfectly now.

Vlad - Is there some way to use the n810's internal thermometer to give an aprox. temp of where the tablet is, and display it beside the today's weather logo?

Working great on OS2006 although if I choose to have the station name & arrows (or either one alone) I get a strange effect...
When I click on the arrows to cycle stations the please wait icon (self completing circle (at least it is'nt an hourglass)) fails to disappear when the action is completed and then becomes the most annoying cursor ever.

also in the settings window the arrow keys to change station order only display as half buttons.

Still a wonderful program
Hope you had a good vacation

Have fun

I had the same problem, and I also did several reboots then waited until the N/A disappeared.
