Sounds more like an error in the setup. What's your input on the repo setup page?

Web Address : http://repository.maemo.org/extras-devel/
Distribution : freemantle

I think I copied this from elsewhere in the forums. This is exactly as it appears on my device.

The maemo repositories are up and running again. It seems like DNS propagation has ended. I just noticed that updating and downloading new packages now are faster than before.

Is it just me or the new repo servers are better now?

can I ask for some advice related to repositories. I have added one from:

Catalog Name: Maemo Nintendo Emulators
Web Address: http://b-man.xceleo.org/repo/maemo-nintendo-emulators/
Distribution: (Leave Blank)
Components: main

For the SNES Emulator but when I go to download and install it says I need to have

libzeemote
libzeemote-conf

now am guessing these need to come from the Maemo Devel repository? Which I didn't really want to add as am not a expert user and don't wanna risk bricking my phone etc... so what other options are there for getting it downloaded?

This is why non-standard repositories are such a bad idea... Emulators should be back in the standard repositories soon, assuming they become available sooner.
