The link is broken. I guess you want to point at http://wiki.maemo.org/Fremantle_Unsu...ds_and_mice.29

I know that page, I followed the mentioned steps and it already did work. At least until I followed the given advice to uninstall bt-hid-scripts, which obviously broke bluetooth support of my keyboard. Does uninstalling of bt-hid-scripts revert changes manually made to /etc/bluetooth/main.conf? I first changed this file, then installed bt-hid-scripts, then it worked. Now it doesn't work anymore.
I'm just running a backup. As son as it's done I'll check that file again.

Yeah , sorry for the broken link. Have no idea if bt-hid-scripts edit /etc/bluetooth/main.conf.

I don't see any BT keyboard connected in logs, will you open extkbd UI, press Tools->reConnect and after that send logs again. And if reconnect produce any error message write it here too

OK, I checked bluetooth config again, and you're right, the input module was on ignore list again
I deleted it and keyboard now gets paired again but it works no better than before (bt-hid-scripts still uninstalled).
I played with some different layouts and only one that yet made any difference was layout france: no keys at all working.
I'm just on the verge of configuring that damned stuff with a big bad hammer!

Is there any tool which displays received keycodes / scancodes from keyboard directly so I could at least try to build my own mapping?

Ok, do me a favor, uninstall bt-hid-scripts and try again. As far as I know bt-hid-scripts install some daemon which mess up with setxkbmap and only qole knows what else, extkbd is supposed to work on its own. BTW what model was your keyboard?

re tool - yes, there is, it is called evtest, give me a couple of minutes and i will upload it here

@x-lette - here are two test tools, google on how to use them. Just have in mind that you have to copy them on executable partition, for example in /opt and have to chmod to 777 for example
Attached Files
File Type: zip test.zip (33.7 KB, 95 views)

It says in the Bluetooth menu that Apple Wireless Keyboard is connected. I don't receive any messages when I reConnect besides "Disconnecting..." and then an instant "Connecting..." and then I am connected again, however nothing show up in Keyboards.

bt-hid-scripts is already uninstalled, that's what messed up connection in previous step as with uninstallation the config file was 'restored' again and my changes were gone. So currently only extkb is installed.
My keyboard is a silicon one from Chin Fai. You can find a similar one here (with english layout): http://www.amazon.co.uk/Silicone-Sma...N%3DB003JIM6J8
It claims to be SU-8W compatible. What settings are used for that Nokia keyboard? Generic 105 intl?
