another bug, you cant set the time thru the clock app now! you have to go thru settings, what a pain!

A few weeks ago I noticed that, when choosing worldclocks from the clock app, the day always says monday. The date itself is correct.

Can someone confirm this, or is it a problem with my phone?

yes. confirmed on my uk n900 cssu latest version but using cepi perez clock app that overwrites original (same as default but with portrait support). all clocks say monday !?!

Thanks for testing. I was indeed referring to the replacement clock, that's why I posted the question here.

I will see if I can report a bug for this somewhere.

I have send a private message to CepiPerez and maybe he follows this thread regularly. Hopefully he picks it up.

Edit: I suspect the shortDayName function in world.ccp goes wrong...

Okay, I decided to fix the bug myself. Now the day is shown correctly in the worldclock part (instead of always displaying monday).

Will see if I can submit a patch for the official sourcecode...

Next to the little bug fix a small cosmetic change:
- Although not in line with the stock clock, I replaced the name GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) by UTC (Universal Time Coordinated), which is a more commonly used term nowadays.
