Hi thedead1440,
Honestly I don't know what is the correct way. Anyway I tried your suggestion but failed. What should I do?
C:\Program Files\Nokia\Flasher>flasher -f -F main.bin -F emmc.bin --no-preserve
flasher 3.12.1 (Oct 6 2011) Harmattan
Warning: --no-preserve is not recommended, instead use erase commands

Getting "Device not working properly" message when trying to boot my N9
as shown here: http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...77&postcount=1
This happened right after uninstalling warehouse app and re-booting (as recommended by Custodian for re-installing a newer version).
I suspect I did not wait long enough for uninstall to complete before rebooting, but not sure.
I tried using the recommended method of "flasher --enable-rd-mode ...",
but the phone still displays the message during boot.
Is there anything that can be done to salvage the phone in this state, without resorting to a full re-flash that will wipe out the data?
Any help is appreciated.
