Thanks for this, i only have 28mb rootfs space free, and couldn't update OTA using the app manager, but this way worked perfectly.

After i rebooted my rootfs went down to 23mb free.

No you are using the current version

Public Release 1.1: 2.2009.51-1.205.1 or 203.1 is what majority of UK users have been using.

Public Release 1.1.1: 3.2010.02-8.203 has been released today. Those on 205 variant (like myself) are still waiting.

Nokia obviously couldn't deploy the next big upgrade without everyone having this - unlike the previous messages about it being rolled up into the next biggy! lol

I assume you mean rootsh? The usual way, via App Manager.

Are you sure you don't already have it installed then? It should be in the maemo.org repository (and a newer version is in extras-devel).
