The resizing of bookmarks option that CepiPerez added.. "gconftool -s /apps/osso/hildon-home/task-bookmarks-size -t int XX"
I had an idea on easy switching the ApplicationShortcuts (as it is only two images).. but then changing this would probably break the looks of the theme to much. So it might be better not to.

Suggestion: make all labes, comboboxes and buttons height to 70 to get the texts in the same line.
And set labels vertical align to AlignVCenter.

Getting closer. Things that are working now:
- set font family
- set font size
- set font colors!
Things that are almost done:
- set icon-theme
- set snap-to-grid
Things that needs more thinking:
- read current shortcut size from Qt app
- read current bookmar size from Qt app
- read current "show or hide icon bg's" from Qt app
(attached is an example of how ugly UI you can now get by setting colors)
