N800 with the newest firmware. Pidgin works fine on its own, as does UKMP. It'll stay on together, but as soon as I try to send an IM, it crashes with a big nasty beep sound in the speaker.

zeez:
to uninstall, just use the application manager.

Sounds a lot like it's related to how the sound is played in both apps. I'll try to ask around in the maemo irc channel about it.

Hmm but it is not listed there at least not as "ukmp" or "uktube" or anthing uk* for that matter. I even tried with apt-get - no luck...

Nope, it's listed as mediacenter if I remember correctly. Yeah, it's confusing.

How did you manage to save the file. When I click on save I couldn't save it back to its original location?

Hey, konttori cool that you fixed the bugs that I pointed out!
I have some more for you... When switching the audio and video screens it doesn't clear it before that, so if you have for example more albums than videos (like 2-3) the covers stay in the background until you scroll.
And I can't start the program from IDEA. I choose the correct file - mediacenter.

I'll look into the IDEA situation next week. I've also been helped by Pasi Keränen in getting proper m4a support to the next version (1.6). I'll do my best to get the IDEA support up and running for that version.

If all goes well, I'll also have the now playing screen in there by the end of next week.

Can thumbnail generation for movies be supported now with the new version of mplayer?

I large number of CDs for a video isn't particularly helpful :-)

And/or support folders as the equivalent of albums for videos.

Hi Andrew and thanks for the tip. Indeed there is a new version of mplayer and it supports jpeg out. Thus, I'll add the thumbnails for this weeks version.
