Still no update available here (france). Last time it did not see it neither and i had to reflash it. I am afraid it will be the same again.
Why did updates worked better with the n810 ?

This is really dissapointing.

But I've already exhausted my bad temper allocation for today, so I'll just answer. No. We were just working out why it's Gordon Brown's fault today.
That's why I essentially stopped following tmo lately, really. Subscribed to mailing lists instead, which probably are "too complicated" (thankfully) for whole bunch of kiddies like here in this thread.

Btw, I am in UK and haven't received an update yet (.203) if anyone cares.

If you're not using a UK phone, you should have had the update. See http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...667#post532667 for a possible solution.

well the update didn't pop up for me either but when i clicked on "UPDATE" button in app manager, it is there. I think you should try that also.

It may hide inside the back of the queue or something. Try apt-get update. Hope it comes up for you buddy.

All the best. Otherwise just flash it with the latest image.

Well, aren't we a little ray of sunshine!

Those of us in the UK who've been left behind by this (and are worried about the next, more serious update passing us by) are amusing ourselves while waiting with a little humour. It isnt harming anyone.

I am signed up to a mailing list. I'm even signed up to a meego.org mailing. So I'm afraid you don't escape my childishness hat way, either. Unless the 'kiddie' comment was aimed at Fargus in which case... we really need a 'facepalm' smilie.

Yep, and I've often felt the need for a "headbutting a brick wall" smilie as well.

What we need is some inside information about the UK update.

What about our community council?

Are you guys reading this?

We just need some kind of confirmation about the UK update!

Why is it delayed?

That's all!
It could be any number of reasons (e.g. not full moon, waiting for vernal equinox, world peace)

SPEAK TO US NOKIA!

Put everyone's mind at rest.

Tell you what, there's a General Election coming up. There's enough of us here. Let's start a Party?

"The UK to get firmware updates from nokia within a reasonable timeframe and in any case at least within 24 hours of everyone else Party".

Who's with me?

Jesus guys it's been 2 days, 48 hours.

Reading this forum people might be mistaken for thinking the firmware was released last month.
