I know that everyone is having fun playing with their Tabs, but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE share your experiences/use-cases/anecdotes with the Tab for us that are less fortunate!

From my experience so far, I heartly advice to have firefox on the tab. It's a beta, allright, but it works very well and may also modify its user agent (an extension is needed, go search for them among firefox mobile extensions.
Don't forget also to install the streetview application for enhancing your google maps experience.
As regards productivity, I feel that Documents to Go is superior to the enclosed ThinkFree office (it's a paid for app, though, at least for editing).

Think I found the best UK Tab deal so far available from Carphone Warehouse.

£454 provided you take £10 1gb tariff but it is rolling one month contract so you can cancel immediately making the cost £464 (but at least you get one month of data) plus a free 16gb memory card. When is the 32gb Tab going to be out anyway?

Going back to my N900 is weird, it's so small. It's like driving a rental car for a week and then driving your old car again.

This is great advice. I've found a video of firefox mobile running on the Tab:

It runs quite smoothly! I suspect when mozilla adds GL acceleration, it will run even better!

That's a *great* price. It's almost as much as the 16GB WiFi iPad! The comparable iPad (32GB 3G) costs £599 or about £140 more!

Very interesting! I'm curious to see how people substitute tablets for smartphones in general. I'm guessing that a 7" tab will replace smartphones 90% of the time. They're portable, and a 7" screen is much more comfortable than a 3.5".

This is a REALLY cool app. It's called Vlingo. Basically you talk to your device to send emails/text/etc.

You can even control vlingo completely hands free. Basically you have a 'wake up' word to initiate the app, and then you can send texts, commands, emails voice only without ever having to touch your device.

Watch the video for an example. If this works well, this is almost a must have app.

Absolutely! With a bluetooth headset in-ear, and the Tab in a bag, you can make/place calls, get/send emails, get/send texts, jot notes, etc, all without so much as touching the device! That's incredible!

The app also comes with a handy widget for the desktop.

Here's the official site:
