hmm looks like not every one is satisfied
i'm testing the ideal profile (but modified it with some voltages)
i will see how it goes with me
and i will upload the file after i finish
so far getting better results(including more performance) i just don't understand why perhaps better voltages increases the performance ?

POWERSAVE_BIAS modifies the behaviour of the ondemand governor to save more power by reducing the target frequency by a specified percentage

setting powersave bias is POINTLESS, this combined with a high up threshold simply means you rarely hit the top frequency which for most of you is ~700-750 MHz. So you are using your N900 more or less at 600MHz most of the time which happens to have the best speed/voltage tradeoff.
Apply a little thought. Set max speed to 805, use an up threshold of 93, enable SR, remove all frequencies except 250, 500, 650,805. Keep HW wake ups below 500 when the device is at rest.
There is you magic battery saving right there. Magic super mega script, pff. Smoke and mirrors broo.

i don't get it mine is lasting well and i hammer mine on the net and gaming. i'm going to see when i have to plug it in to mains cos it's usually around 2-3pm. i'm on default with the values changed and it's stable. i can't go up to 805 with SR because it keeps rebooting so have to keep it at 750. at present it's looking pretty good. going to look into what vi_ posted though
power=a*capacitance*frequency*voltage^2
