This is my first Nokia phone in a number of years, if they drop support for it, I'll surely be buying from a different brand, for myself and for the people in my company, so I doubt how much Nokia will benefit. Also i believe that Nokia should keep us updated and well aware on whats happening regarding our phones and updates, rather than leaving us waiting and just speculating.
Another point is how do they expect to compete with Android and iPhone when they're not developing new applications, games, etc. for Maemo? and if they are developing them, still how do they expect to compete if they're moving at such a slow pace? Don't get me wrong, I love my N900, it's just I'm not satisfied with their service, Even messaging them for problems, support etc, they take ages to reply and then just reply telling me that they don't provide support for my location, then why do they sell them here?...

The UI is already there. True. But if it's going to be released in 1-2-3... months....there is no reason to stay with N900... it was one of the decision making point - quick support from Maemo team. Now it feels like there is no development except couple of applications...

We still suffering from bugs everyday of delay in firmware. Any announcement would be nice, you know just to decide for yourself whether you ready to wait and stick to this OS or move on.
