Not the same issue, I'm getting a new number
.....but thought it was worth pointing out the fact that MPD are useless and they probably do have your PAC code and not bothered to update your order on their website.

I opted for transferring my old number... I gave my PAC number at the time of ordering, so far it seems good. Order Status = Pending Stock.

You better call them, as they only reply emails with same scripted replies these days lol

Ok, well the MPD thread now has to switch focus from *****ing and moaning about the company itelf, to speculating endlessly on the following things:

1) the outside possibility that they might ship early (i.e. today)
2) whether those who get a shipping confirmation on Friday will receive their devices on Saturday
3) Which 'batch' you will be in (assuming this stuff about it going out in 'batches' is true)

to answer those questions myself:

1. no chance
2. possible, but not likely, depends on Royal Mail's backlog in your area, how early they received the device the previous day
3. I'm thinking not the first one, probably Monday as I ordered on 21st October. Reckon I'll get it on Tuesday, but would love to be wrong and get it earlier.

BTW, does anyone know if we'll get a tracking number when our device ships? I looovvvve following parcels, even if it's only going to be for a short distance.

I don't think MPD give tracking details.
I didn't get any when ordering my N97 from them earlier in the year.

I suppose the other question is whether the order tracker page will show when stock has come in (e.g. from pending stock to stock available or something like that) or will it just go directly to 'shipping').
