Well I was more concerned about whether it was a quasi govt agency.

I can honestly say that I don't believe they are a quasi govt agency and I would consider myself pretty cynical about these things.

Ahhh. The reason you didn't see the US capital dome is because it's a part of the flash animation.

Anyway. GC dialer is pretty convenient seeing as how I discontinued my long distance service. This N800 is going to save me some cash!

GrandCentral doesn't have a way for existing users to invite others right now. The only thing you can do is go to the site and sign up for an invite from GC itself. There's nothing anyone on this or any other forum can do for you. Sorry.

oh, im sorry
I was just going off of what their site said

GrandCentral is currently a private beta service, which means you must receive an invite from GrandCentral or a GrandCentral user to sign up. Let us know where you would like a number in the form below and we will invite you as soon as the service is publicly available.

Grand Central has ended beta and should be going public soon. Don't know how affordable the service will be once it's available. I've enjoyed the beta service, which basically give me a flexible, virtual number. Supposedly, beta testers will be able to keep their numbers for free and, possibly, receive free incoming. I already have a couple of other VOIP providers, so I'm not sure that I'll use Grand Central much for outgoing. I'm hoping Grand Central's public offering supports true SIP. I'm not that impressed with GIZMO. I'd much prefer to route my Grand Central number to one of my other paid VOIP providers, which seem a little more stable than GIZMO.
