The only problem I still have is that the birthdays set in my google contacts are pushed by 1 day on my N900 when after syncing.

The only problem with that bug report is that google sync is not officially supported, so the bug is pretty irrelevant at this time until they support it.

Hi,
That's not how it works.
If the Nokia developer working on MfE sees this bug, and can reproduce it with Exchange, then he will fix it. It may not affect only Google Contacts, of course.
Let's say it does only affect Google Contacts.
He might close it (works for me or won't fix) if supporting Google Contacts is not a goal at all, and it will never be supported.
Or he might leave it open since working with Google Calendar, while not currently supported, is a goal on his roadmap. That means that the bug may stay open a while, but will eventually get fixed.
So in 2 scenarios of 3, the bug will stay open & get fixed eventually.
