Where we are is tropical, two seasons, the wet season, and the dry, close to 30c all year but just more humid during the wet, which is now

... this is my favourite of my n900 pics so far ...



... even after looking at some of the photos posted here, I was shocked at how well some of my photos came out on what is essentially a camera phone ... and was really pleased that I didn't have to take my gloves off in the freezing new year weather to take some lovely sunset photos!

I could never get a nice photo in low light - but in bright day light the N900 works good - though the half-press to focus is not set properly (or is it my device only? ). On My N95 the half-press was distinctly felt when I pressed the button - but on my N900 I just can't seem to feel it easily - as a result many a photo are unfocussed and not sharp.

So I checked the box going green method to make sure I had half-pressed before clicking the shutter fully.

Hmm I just noticed that as well, no distinct feeling on the half-press on the n900. I do remember feeling it on the n95 though...
