I just installed it OTA via FapMan and Vodafone 3G connection - worked fine although at the end it came up with "Removing any (0/1)" for ages and I thought it had crashed. Also had to reboot to get mobile network back.

Oh, right, because my 203-variant here can't access the Nokia Apps, Nokia Updates or Ovi repos. at the moment ("with an error of (in 'detail') 'Proxy CONNECT aborted'.") at all,

Anyone else having problems with this?

My handset has uk software (NOT vp), handset was straight from Nokia.

When I try to do OTA via wifi it asks me to plug into PC suite & backup.

I specifically waited so that I could upgrade OTA & avoid having to reinstall applications, Re-mod my phone, lose data & generally have to mess around!

Not happy it now wants me to reflash via PC Suite, grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Any ideas on how i can get the OTA to work?

I've read some people complain using Ovi Suite wipes all data, apps, settings etc off the phone - its a 200MB update instead of just 86MB - so you would need to use saved backup (of phone, stored on PC or mem card) to restore everything and I've been trying to avoid that if poss. Probably just me being a noob and not wanting to get my hands dirty really.

In my case going that restore route now wouldnt make much sense - if I had to do all that then it would have made more sense to just flash phone with global FW 2 weeks ago instead of waiting for todays OTA update.
