I wonder: how difficult is it to take a tablet made for Ubuntu and Android and install Maemo on this? Here there is applications.

Then should Nokia/Intel pay for the fun, port it to Meego.

How depend is Maemo on the ARM architecture?

DGui updated his blog regarding TabCo here, here and here.
Btw, his guess (Nokia) was neither denied nor confirmed by now...so far all (most) guesses were at least commented in some more or less meaningless way ;-)

TabCo also posted a new blog entry.
Think there is at least one hint:

Being the environmentally friendly guy that I am (as most of us are here in the Land of Innovation)
Now we know they are definitely not from the US , but rather from Europe I guess.

Btw, the term "Land of Innovation" was used before:

Where is TabCo located?

We’re a global company but we are based in a land called Innovation. It’s a beautiful place where the sun shines brightly and the ideas flow freely. It’s a pretty small place, but you may be able to find it on Google maps.
(Global company -> NO start-up!)

Small place called innovation? In Europe?
Finland (Nokia)?
Sweden (Nobel price)?
Germany (many inventions)?
(Well, doesn´t nearly every country call itself home of innovation??? )

or is it

It’s almost like they thought you were taking them to Disneyland The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
France (Disneyland)?
England (Harry Potter)?

I refer you all to my blog: http://dgui.wordpress.com/2011/07/12...-who-are-they/ I see one of my posts was mentioned above. This new one details a list of possible companies behind it. Nokia is definitely. You'll also note that I was the one that figured out the Rubik's Cube on Twitter after I realised it had to be significant if they mention it twice. The hint actually points to two things, they said their CEO solved the cube at age 3, which is impossible due to him being to young if he was born in 1974, the RC was only released commercially in 1980. The hint is the Rubik's Cube and 3 years. 1974 actually refers to the birth of the RC, the Nokia N95, in late '09 or early '10 solved a Rubik's Cube using a specially built machine, it was 3 years old at the time. 1974 doesn't refer to Nokia in any way, it refers to the Cube, meaning age three was important. Thus the N95 solving the Rubik's Cube at age three is the answer to the hint.

these videos and stuff are really cheesy, but i still lol every now and then :P

could this not be Nokia? Maybe this is a Meego tablet but now that Elop is clearly not encouraging Meego at Nokia, the previous Meego tablet team broke off and are now more independent in an effort to escape Elops grip?

Disagreed...
How many pics from England, Finland, Sweden showing a blue sky with bright sun do you want me to show you? Besides that thought of the sun shining 24h through summer in Scandinavia?

Germany and France not small??? Check the globe and see how small they are related to other countries...

Thinking the time they wrote that it has been exceptionally sunny over here in Finland and it shines almost the whole day at this time of year.
Small place though was the most important as it closes USA out of this all.
