Talking about that. How is that going to work now then? Will we have an WiMax enabled N810 only? Or a patch/chip/thingy to enable WiMax on the N810? If so, will that patch/chip/mod/thingy work on the N800/770 as well? Or will we have 5 devices, a 770, two N800's and two N810's?

This is a publicised release "event" for the 810 on 11/14/07. Unless there's another nseries release impending . I'm no insider, but I can't imagine they would advertise a release date and then do it 5 days early. But perhaps it will happen...

I'm helping you guys to build the longest thread in history. We can make it, quickly someone allude to having some inside information on the release time :-)

My money is on next Wednesday for now, but who knows?

But seriously, I can't wait for OS2008

I don't have all the details, but the public announcement is a variant of the N800 supporting Wimax. That's it. So 4 devices by spring 2008.

And ezuall: Oh no you didn't!!!

I agree. This is a most difficult position to be in. Must...not...explode...

Argh argh argh argh, I'm in a pre-WiMax area, which means near-global Skype/Gizmo coverage, which means freedom BUT ALSO another glorious device I will have to carry everywhere.

Good thing Amazon's selling the SCOTTEVEST 12-pocket super-tech-carry-jackets for $50 today

I understood that already, but it has already been said that N800 version will not be available at the same time. My point was that since few people have N810 in their hands then getting the OS2008 firmware downloaded would not really be of much use.

Anyway, if OS2008 version is available for N810 then first thing that will happen is N810 will be announced as shipping.
