Violent stuff.
Yup, but the surrounding story is the core. Hence, its drama (and some humor) with violence. Not senseless violence with humor. Or something like that. Iron Man falls in the same genre as Hellboy and Sincity. V For Vendetta at least made a point...

God Of War is violent too; but it has more emphasis on the moral aspects.

The Constant Gardener is violent too; but again, its also a drama, with a moral.

Goddemmit, boy, don't you go an' a trample on my guns an' ma liberty, or else I'mma gonna hafta skin one of you folks.

Really, I love target practice and precision shooting competitions, though. I own six guns.

I never read the Iron Man comics, but I actually loved the movie. Seeing Stark go from a uncaring ***... to an *** who saves people in danger was great. Not to mention that the dialog was decent, the acting wonderful, and the special effects and choreography were also mind-blowingly awesome.

That Robert Downey Jr. is one great tap-dancer. His ballet moves aren't so hot, though.

Got the special edition DVD but I have not watched the extras yet-- too busy enjoying the movie again. Protests about it here be damned.

There's a ten minute video in the extras of Robert Downey Jr. in a tutu doing some ballet. You may want to skip that bit.
