My PyQt was updated to 4.7.4 a few days ago.

It makes sense!

Go to Uninstall inside the Application Manager and look for PyQT.

Click and hold on it and choose details to see the version.

Well it is a dependency of barriosquare so at least parts of it exist, just not listed in the app manager.

But anyway I think that idea was a red herring, I just downgraded my pyqt stuff to 4.7.3-maemo5 and barriosquare still does not function properly. :-/

i've also had it stop working, although I couldn't do anything, and after deleting the user data it just sits on the initial refresh and doesn't ever seem to actually load.

This program has been an example of the best of Maemo and the worst of Maemo. One bloody PyQt update and the program is shot

I believe the original creator of Barriosquare no longer has the time or interest in Maemo apps and the guy who took over the reins from Chris probably doesn't either. I tweeted him a few days ago to let him know but like all of us, he's probably too busy too.

Whilst it still works by using search, it's still a crippled program now and it's taken the wind out of my foursquare sails, losing Mayorships each and every week but I don't care. You wonder why foursquare don't have/pay someone to work on it................

Edit: will add however that Cotchin is a great alternative
