HI,

I am using Maemo Mapper version 1.4.2-5. I have flite 1.3 and proj installed.

On the announce tab, the Speed and Pitch are missing. I have a screenshot but I don't know how to get it in a post.

Those options were removed, since they never did anything in the first place. They were added to take advantage of moimart's dbus-based flite, which he never released. The command-line-based flite that maemo-mapper now uses does noot support the Speed and Pitch options.

Thank you for the prompt reply!

HI,

N800 using mapper ver. 1.4.2-5. Route->Download. While entering origin or destination, a windows pops up with possible matches.
I try to tap (double tap) a selection and nothing happens. I can not make a selection.

Thank you.

I too am having the same exact problem with v1.35 and n700. While I'm at it, is it possible to enter an address so that it can be located on the map without entering a "start" and "destination"? I've been entering the same address in both fields but I'm thinking there must be an easier way.

Unfortunately, this is a quirk of maemo and the way it handles entry auto-completion. For some reason, you can't use the stylus to select a match. You must use the up and down hardware keys.

I don't know if they're planning to fix this...

hmmmm.....
Topographic maps (via proj. install for wma projection) crash mapper the moment it tries to download a map.

I am unsure if this is because my url is wrong, and I cannot find anything other than the url at the beginning of another post (mapper 1.3 announcement I think)
or if something else is the problem....

Am I the only one who has this problem?
I mean, is anyone still able to download wma topographic maps,
and if anyone can, might you be kind enough to post the url that works for you?

thanks!

Hi Gnuite,

Once again thank you for the reply and for all the great work you have done with Maemo Mapper.

Do you accept contributions?

I was able to reproduce this problem. I'll investigate and release a fix today.

Thanks for the bug report!

Yes; there is a donate button on my Maemo Mapper home page:
