Speakers stopping to work? Maybe you meant the microphone? If so than no, still need to unplug the headphones with mic included to get it working again, sadly. I have tried using same amixer command of FmRadio when app is closed but they don't work here. I may try to get the qt mobility multimedia source to see what happens when I call radio.start() to see which amixers values are touched to revert the effect at app closing.

Anyway, doing what I wrote here (http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...&postcount=115) works fine, I used the app as system process and receiving sms notification won't stop the radio from working.

I like this application.

Problems / improvements that I see / suggest:

I can not organize the stations using the buttons that show arrows.

I can not delete stations with the icon showing a trash can.

The size of the screen often does not fit when we switched to the upright position. The right arrow icon often partially hidden.

The autoscan starts from the frequency with which I am, forcing me to manually place the lowest frequency to scan the entire band.

Tends to disconnect the bluetooth and connect random during the operation of the radio.

The speaker option does not work.

The list of "manager stations" in portrait mode is wider than the screen, forcing scroll horizontally.

Thanks for your feedbacks.

1- You have to hold the button down for moving/deleting a station, consider it a prevention against taps by mistake.

3- I have not implemented portrait mode yet, that's why you see a bad layout.

4- I had to do this because sometimes the radio hang on and needs to be restarted, so the autoscan can coninue from where it was.

5- That is something I'm still failing to realize why it happens.

6- Which version are you using? I think I have (finally) fixed it with last version.

Thanks for this great app, used for about half hour with no problem. The only problem is that the microphone does not work after i close the program but i found the temporary solution here which is to open fm radio then close it again and mic is working. Hope this bug gets fixed soon so that i can get to delete fm radio.

I tried the latest dev version.
Is it really necessary to reset Bluetooth with every time when frequency is changed to pre-saved stations?

I see "Bluetooth disabled", "Bluetooth enabled" with every station change. And of course it is impossible to keep Bluetooth-networking work this way during radio listening. Not a problem with the old FM-radio software. Not sure what happens with Bluetooth headphones if someone is using those.

If you have saved a number of radio stations it is difficult to remember because of the frequency at which this channel belongs. It would be nice to can add the name of the station on the menu where are listened the saved frequencies. These names should then appear in the main menu on the station switching buttons.

Hi, qradio seems to play mono only, no stereo even though i toggled the option in settings to see if that would fix it. the other radio apps play stereo no problem.. version 0.3.8

Same for me, the old FM Radio app plays in stereo just fine, but QRadio stays in mono all the time, no matter what station or setting I try.
