Corrected versions are pasted above.

I actually used to use these scripts to underclock to 250MHz max + SmartReflex when device was locked and 805MHz max + SmartReflex when unlocked.

EDIT : echo 10 when a sleep
echo 100 (the default) when awake

why reversted them?

hehe looks like you did that before i edit them

There was no troubles, I re-flashed ages ago and never got around to re-installing it all over again. After that I just tuned my pm-config a little smarter.

what should be the min 250 or 500? for ideal to test the settings u have made?
i am using your battery settings without your patch with ideal min@500 max@750
upthreshold to 95,
samplerate to 300000
vdd1 and vdd2 (change to 1)
powersave_bias to 20
ignore_nice_load to 0
and i have dual scud batteries 3000 mah so result is with normal usage after 1day and 23hrs my battery is still at 60% i have made calls for more than 2 hrs some browsing, sms .
as u said that continue usage is like 2-3% every 10-15mins for normal battery but i am getting same with my dual scud double power than stock is it not working fine for continues usage? according to my batteries i should be getting 10 mins for 1-2%.

each kind of batteries needs a special tweaks for it
so the other batteries needs other tests
those tweaks are made for the stock one
anyway if you wanna get a longer continues usage time
change the vfs cache back to normal
but you will have a short( normal ) standby time

or just wait till i finish tests with the dbus-scripts using vfs cache

why not
/opt/scripts/cpu_sleep.sh * * com.nokia.mce.signal tklock_mode_ind locked

what are the differences between those two?

i used com.nokia.mce.signal tklock_mode_ind locked

woow i testd yesterday i used my n900 for 15 mins i downloaded sociality through FAM then i used it after using i was surprised 15 min took only 1.7% battery

with vfs at default

one more thing should i keep min@500 or @250 for ideal?

aaah my son.

Relying on the 'lock' signal is foolish as it requires the user to lock the device, meaning it will not work if it is autolocked.

system_inactivity_ind

Is a signal that gets sent when the system goes into standby (shortly after the screen goes off). So we trigger the sleep script from the device going into standby instead of the lock key. You understand?

i am using this settings and the battery sucked...need help..would be glad if any1 can give me a soln..if no1 helps then my bad..not your fault..i hav bodered u guys enuf..i am sorry..my last try

and after some tests i can see a huge improve of the battery continues usage

this is really awesome

pls wait those settings doesn't work very well with vfs cache 10

i will make a tutorial at 1st post to use dbus-scripts
to change vfs cache to 100 when the device is unlocked
and change it to 10 when it's locked
this will make you have a long standby and continues time of usage
i will also post my ideal profile when i do that

PS : vi_ i used system_inactivity_ind and l tklock_mode_ind locked
because some times the system may not be inactive by the IM programs
ex : pidgin or sociality
