You're misunderstanding what people mean by 4/5. N900 is step 4. The next Maemo (now Meego) device will be step 5.

I found it odd that the site of maemo there were so many people to make comments on the new firmware 1.2 and in the nokia forum did not exist even a comment.

Then leave a comment like this:

I thought the Nokia would That Be Able to recover the market with the N900 I was wrong. Maybe nokia Has Already many customers and not worry about this.Why pr 1.2 take so long? Do not you think the nokia that gives little attention to the users of the N900? The N900 is not even a phone or a computer, is half of the two! If it were not for third party applications on the N900 was true shaime. And for this walk and delay in releasing the firmware, I suspect that when the N900 is a good phone or a good computer, you have other equipment to replace him.

And lack of consideration and innovation of nokia, which I've always been a fan of the brand, was not even tempted to buy any equipment.

The N900 was the last!

Minutes later I found it odd that not visualize the message from the nokia forum. So I went back to put it.

Then I received this message in my private folder:

I'm sorry to hear you've HAD such problems with your mobile phone. If you think your device is not performing it the Shoulder and you want it fixed, the first step would b to take it to an Authorized Nokia Care point for inspection. Can you find the addresses from globally http://www.nokia.com/repair

If you are unhappy with the service you received from Nokia Care by phone or email, call again and ask Them to make a complaint about the issue. This is a user-to-user forum and we Who run this forum for Nokia are unable to look in detail into cases like this. But please visit your local Nokia Care point and Have Them take a look.

Please do not post the complaint in the forum. It is not allowed in the forum. You Will Be Banned if you do that again.

And the message was erased again!

The odd thing is that there are several posts in the forum for people to complain. Is the theme "PR 1.2 new firmware on N900" taboo??

Hi, Im newbe in this forum. Guys pls help me. Im fed of waiting for PR 1.2 as my level of tolerance is now over the limit. any idea when the dam PR 1.2 going to be relased.

If you see the tags on this thread, perhaps you might get an idea:
* 3-4 weeks
* could be next decade
* maybe today maybe tomorrow maybe next week maybe never
* april fools

If you're losing sleep over a firmware update you *need* to step away from this phone and take a look around you and get a life.

This thread is no longer about the update anyway. It's an April fools joke thats now become and epic April fools joke.

I complain too to nokia by phone.I said to nokia that their service is not the same that in the past.(I bought n900 and two days after, one month to repair it with the pr 1.0).I said to them, that it's not normal to give us a phone with lot of bugs.They said to me that nokia is still the best.I didn't expect anymore from nokia, it's my last nokia phone...
