Ovi's a very mixed bag right now, but IMHO in general it's getting better as they put together elements which were created as separate entities. I agree support is rather poor and inaccessible, I agree there are too many disconnected things that need connecting. But the iterations are going in the right direction I think, especially the recent drive to unify the PC applications into one app and to make it multiplatform.

Going through one by one...

-Nokia Maps is now integrated into the Ovi login system as Ovi Maps, with an online site where you can enter destinations and plan routes which can then be synced with the phone via the web (and it also lets you sync any favourite destinations saved on the phone). The latest S60 client for Ovi Maps is pretty good, it's much easier to find stuff that used to be buried in the menus.

-Ovi Share, originally Twango, is now fully integrated into the unified login though Nokia seem to be unsure how to proceed with the interface.

-N-Gage will probably IMHO be folded into Ovi Store, which is already on the unified login. The exclusive games have generally had good reviews and could be used to promote the store.

-Nokia Music is still un-integrated with a separate login, but I believe the separate music app is being rolled into the upcoming unified Ovi Suite which would imply integration is coming soon.

-Ovi Sync is using the unified login and should hopefully be further integrated with the contacts and messaging systems in the future. I've never personally had problems with Sync but some people say it's too flaky.

-Ovi Files was originally a pay service but is now totally free so that's going to make it more accessible to users.

-Ovi Mail uses the unified login but currently only has a client available for Series 40 phones (as it was mainly intended for the developing world where cheap phones are usually the only available computer). They're doing an S60 client though and presumably a Maemo one too, and of course they have a webmail page for access through a browser.

-Everything else on Ovi is in a state of flux, but hopefully the upcoming Ovi Suite will unify and simplify things as it's one single app with a deliberately minimalist feature set. And as I said in the other thread Ovi Suite is going to be on Mac as well as Windows, and possibly on Linux too.

It's not there yet but it's in a better state than a year ago. I'd give it another year to mature and integrate, Google and Yahoo usually take a year or more to integrate their purchases into a single system.
