Just got a call from Amazon saying they're giving my Nov order priority because of being lied to and having my Sept.19th one canceled. I was worried what the guy said in the email was just BS, but with this call, they've confirmed exactly what he said. Try it out, it won't hurt if you don't get it, sames go for you Laughing since you did the same as I.
Nah, for one thing I haven't been bugging them as much. And for another thing I cancelled my original order because Newegg had a better price (even commented on that so I bet if they pulled up my account details they would see that comment).

Congrats though

Yeah the problem is I'm not living in USA lol. Else i would of called them ages ago. I'm using my brother in law account to buy it for me. Well he pre-order it for me but i asked him to give me his login details so i can track them down. And annoying them as much as I can to help speeding up my order.

Fwiw, my order was 11/20 and current status is also "Shipment 1 of 1: The following item will arrive after December 25, 2009."

Hopefully they will get to November orders soon.

It's probably because they don't know when the next shipment will arrive and they predict that fufilling the previous pre-orders will cause them to run out of stock of the first shipment before fufilling November pre-orders.

Yes. I am really hoping we get it before christmas... keeping my fingers crossed.

I am in Canada and I'm having this thing shipped to US. Will have to drive and pick it up once it arrives.

Just got my shipping confirmation email. Ordered it 09/29. Looks like they're getting close to October now.

"via UPS (estimated delivery date: November 30, 2009)."

Now I've gotta go order my sim card. And cancel my current phone plan.

Guess what Nokia USA had the phone in-stock.

I don't know why Amazon is such a slow MothaFuka in shipping stuff to customers. They denied that they have such device in their storage Warehouse nor its existence. They even said that the device is not yet out and they are waiting for the manufacturer for the release date. But on the other hand NOKIAUSA already confirmed they had them in stock and it is officially OUT NOW.

WTF?? Is Amazon bullshiiting us all?

Well it looks like Amazon does have the phone in stock, they just don't have enough to meet all of the pre-orders, so they're going through the list and sending them out now to the people who ordered first. Which isn't such a surprise, Amazon probably got stuck with the largest number of orders and weren't sent enough phones to deal with it.

Personally I don't care about any of this. I was happy to wait an extra week to get my phone from Amazon. I've been buying from them for years and this definitely wont change that.

Also, are we going to complain that they're trying to meet all pre-orders before saying the phone is in stock and sending straight out to new orders? A couple of weeks ago this would have been considered standard practice but now it's a refreshingly smart decision.
